Do you know a woman or woman’s organisation who inspires their community, who quietly make others’ lives easier or who trailblazes a path for future generations of women?

Nominations are now open for the 2023 Tasmanian Honour Roll of Women which recognises women and women’s organisations that make a difference in the community.

Tasmanians are encouraged to nominate women and women’s organisations who have made a significant contribution locally, nationally or internationally.

The Honour Roll is a record of women’s achievements, to ensure that they are not forgotten and can act as an inspiration for future generations.

The Honour Roll includes women from all walks of life, including community service, humanitarian pursuits, business, science and technology, the arts, sport, education, medicine, and the environment.

The Honour Roll was established in 2005, with 342 women and 13 women’s organisations being inducted so far.

Nominations must demonstrate how the nominee meets the selection criteria. More information about the Honour Roll, the nomination process and nomination forms are available at here

Nominations close on 2 October 2022. New inductees will be announced at an event in March 2023.
