Human Services Dashboard
The Human Services Dashboard provides headline indicators and supporting statistics. Our aim is to provide transparent and timely information on the Human Services system to ensure accountability and openness.
National Disability Insurance Scheme
The introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has seen the responsibility for delivering specialist disability services to Tasmanians shift from the Tasmanian Government to the NDIS. The NDIS ensures that all eligible Australians under the age of 65 years who have a permanent and significant disability can get the reasonable and necessary supports they need. NDIS Quarterly Reports provide information (including statistics) about participants and the funding or provision of supports by the NDIA in each jurisdiction.
Information on the NDIS in Tasmania can be found at this link in Quarterly reports: https://www.ndis.gov.au/about-us/publications/quarterly-reports
Housing Data
The Department of Communities Tasmania changed the way it reports housing data publicly to improve the clarity of information that is published. We are developing a new Dashboard to host this information, but are publishing this in PDF format until a new format is developed.
The report brings together housing indicators that have previously been published on the Human Services Dashboard and Quarterly Housing Report and includes a range of new indicators detailing the breadth and depth of the housing services that are available.
The new report can be found at Communities Tasmania – Housing – Affordable Housing Strategy - Reporting’
