Maintenance is a shared responsibility between tenants and Housing Tasmania. It is a condition of your lease that you look after your house.
Inspections of Housing Tasmania's properties are carried out regularly. Whilst you are a tenant, Housing Tasmania will repair and replace fixtures as appropriate.
You are responsible for paying for repairs due to damage caused by wilfully negligent or careless actions by you, members of your household, pets or guests. This includes damage caused because you did not tell Housing Tasmania something needed to be fixed.
It is up to you to let us know if anything needs fixing around your home.
