Why should I join the Program?
The Veteran Wellbeing Voucher Program enables veterans to receive $100 voucher each financial year to assist with the cost of registration fees or membership of eligible Tasmanian gyms or sporting clubs. The Program is free to join.
Am I eligible to apply?
To be eligible for the Veteran Wellbeing Voucher Program a person will be
- a veteran (a veteran is a person who is a former member of the ADF, including a reservist);
- have a card either issued by the Commonwealth Department of Veterans’ Affair (DVA) (either gold, white or general) or a card or identification number issued by the Commonwealth Department of Defence (DoD);
- be living in Tasmania; and
- be participating in an eligible gym or sporting club that requires the payment of an annual fee or charge to participate.
Eligible veterans may apply for a voucher worth up to $100. Once eligibility is confirmed, the applicant will receive a voucher code which they will provide to the eligible gym or sporting club when they pay their membership or registration fees. A new voucher is required each year and the Program is run on a financial year basis.
Participation is limited to those sporting clubs and gyms who have registered and been listed as approved Veteran Activity Providers.
